Just came back from a pub restaurant. O-Neil, at Sauchiehall Street, is an Irish Pub. Ppl go there to drink and chat. We went there for food coz it's quite cheap 3.45 pounds per set. It's delicious and filling.
This is some chicken crock pot. haha.. Cant rmb the menu. There r some vege at the bottom, filled with mashed potatoes topped with cheese and a big piece of chicken. Yummy... the cheese is fantastic!!!
This is wat the rest ate. It's Irish burger. Beef petty with ham inside and full basket of fries. THe petty is really thick. McD big mac pettiES are thinner than this.
Btw these pictures are taken with my new phone. I got a Sony Ericsson C903. Not bad rite the resolution. Hehehe...

Went to Edinburgh lately. The place is so different from Glasgow. Glasgow is quite scattered, Edin is more centered and the building are very english style. Very scenic compared to Glasgow.
Edinburgh might be a nice place to tour but not study. It's too hectic and stressful. Exams in every 7 wks. Not very suitable for me i think. But still it got its reputation. High prestige Uni, World Heritage Area... Good to be there.
I spent 3.80 pounds that day. 1.60 return tic and 2.20 for dinner. Cheap rite? :P
City area
Royal Mile
Edinburgh Castle
The Palace of Holyrood House
Holyrood Park
This is the view of Calton Hill from Holyrood.
We brought our own food for lunch. Picnic session.. Pasta was mine.
And met Lenster and Sanjeet for dinner before we left.
Dumb DUmb Dumb... last night just notice some of my pictures were gone due to my stupid move. I imported pictures from my camera and they replaced the older ones. S***
Learnt a lesson, open into SD card and copy out. Slower but safer. My inveraray town and castle pictures all gone. The only way to retrieve is from facebook. yikes.... U can notice the smaller icons in my previous blog. Super low resolution. Facebook actually resize and upload. Now i know... hahaha...
I love eating. Mummy food is always the best food. Staying at home, waiting for meals is a life enjoyment. Being away from home for 2 wks had forced me to cook and get my own groceries. In msia, i've been away from home studying for more than 4 years. Kind of gained a lot in culinary. Can at least cook some simple dishes. Perhaps i got *some* talent in cooking. Haha... perasan..
Here, it's not that easy to get asian ingredient unless u go to some chinese shops. The rice here is freaking expensive. 10kg 13pounds=~RM78. Really siau rite? Somehow, if u cook english food, it's not that expensive though. Some food are really cheap even u convert to RM. Had to learn not convert... Haha...
This is the 1st meal i had in Glasgow. Cooked by yw. Cheese-baked rice...Cheesyyyy
Curry Mee...
Carbonara... Onion+Cream+Milk+Bacon. Super awesome. THose carbonara in msia Is not as nice as this.
English Breakfast. This is the smaller version than those you can eat in the restaurant. Englishmen can REALLY eat. their one person portion can be my whole day intake. I think can open a shop d.
Chinese food. I marinated the chicken breast with 5 spices powder, cooked the carrot and potato then add the chicken. The chicken is tender and soft leh. Then cooked this vege. Dunno what vege is this, so hard, need to add water to soften it. It taste like Kai Lan. Haha... eating something which i dunno wat is it.
Oriental style spaghetti.
Grilled Chicken+Potato Salad. So proud of this. I grilled chicken leh. 1st time. Never did this in msia also. Marinated with spices, grilled around 40 min, must flip and flip. :)
Mixed vege with chilli taste..
And this is the adventurous one. Whole house electrical tripped. When i on the oven, FAN mode. PIAK... computer go off, all the plugs no input. OMG... Freaked. Haha... Finally found out it was a trip. Baked Pasta...
Hi from Glasgow!!! Finally, after 8 months of slacking at home, chen yi is back on track. Engine is still kind of rusty. Haha... Trying to gear up asap.
Been here for a week. The weather is sucky sometimes, raining whole day. It's not like Malaysia where u got heavy rain for a moment and sunny day the next moment. Here, the rain can be continuous for the WHOLE day. Umbrella is useless here. Everyone here will just use rain coat. The 'sok guat zhe' is completly ruined. Yet to get a rain coat soon. These days were sunny which were quite dry and hot actually. But still the weather is like in Genting with strong wind. Haha...
Things are going quite well here. Luckily Yew Wen and some other seniors are here to help out. A lot stuff to settle. The city is 30 minutes away. The only thing is convenient to travel around is our legs. Buses are available but we are yet to discover the routes. I had never do so much walking a day back at home. Here, my muscles are hypertrophied and kind of slim down a bit. Good thing rite?
Here are some pictures around the university campus.
Marina Barrage-- A field at the 2nd floor for the nation to have a taste of kite flying and picnic. Quite tactful actually.
And lastly Sentosa

Cy blog is alive again. haha... Am really lazy throughout the whole holiday. Shall just upload all the pictures here.
Angkore wat. Wat means temple. The whole idea of going was prompted earlier this year after EOS 5. But due to some reasons, I joined another trip to Sabah. However, my family decided to go to sort of backpack this time. My uncle actually went through some websites and booked a villa. It's like a backpacker lounge. But i should say this villa is better than any hotel we went. Good service, excellent food!!!
Being so free, not studying is so not the kind of life I wanted actually. Always when we were having lectures, a simple holiday will be anticipated. But now, 9 months of holiday seems so boring. It's like you are lost in no where, no aim in life. What to do is just eat, sleep and work.
I've been working since february as a teacher. Not a very difficult task. Bio and Science are not that hard to teach but the challenging part is that i'm teaching form 5 BIO. I still rmb the 1st day I got my timetable. WTH... Form 5. Who on earth will allow a temporary teacher to teach form 5? What is happening to my school?
Time passed and it was fun actually. Was lucky that students can understand what i'm saying. Things were smooth all the time with the help from students and teachers. Students now are smart...
Hmmm... It's never difficult to learn and study something new. As long as we put in effort, nothing is that difficult actually. When i start teaching, everyone was saying 'BIO is your thing, your area'. Indeed, human bio in form 5 is not very complicated. However, when I enter the class, sometimes the info is in the mind, but to convey is not as easy as I thought. I had to use diagrams, simple language to teach. Some things when we thought it's so common sense, but for a person at that young age, it's never common or make sense.
4 months to go... Challenging in some way but the life is too monotonous. Boring boring...
The only thing i can summarise about Sabah trip is..... FUN FUN FUN!!!!
We went to Sabah right after exam. The night before which was the last day of EOS, I can bearly stay awake when i was with the rest in McD. Really sorry to Dor and Ramzi for 'putting aeroplane' last minute. Promised to go movie but i cannot tahan d. When i was back in vista, after the packing, i straight away piak on the bed d. It was just 10pm. Suddenly overwhelmed with the extreme tiredness. The next day have to woke 6am coz we had to go KL central to take train.
The whole journey was fun. Chong Bing, Wen Chung, Fei Bing, Fang Han, Li Cin and Ai Ling.. You guys were the funkiest group. Haha... All the stupid lame jokes, ERRRR...., cam whore, it was just fantastic. It made my IMU more memorable. :)
Kinabalu.. Capital city of Sabah, very very small town. The airport is directly beside the sea. When we were on the plane, WC and I was discussing ' ei? Y no runway de? The plane is landing d wor...' Haha... This is really very new to us. The town was arranged in squares. Follow the squares.. u wont get lost. FOR SURE... hehe...
This the very 1st time I use photoscape to do something like this...Kind of cool... hahah...
Our 1st meal in Sabah. Instead of trying Tuaran Mee in the stall, we ordered 7 bowls of 'Gan Lao Mian'. Haha...
Manukan Island.
We went hiking Mount KK also. Haha... It's just 1 km hike only. The whole journey to the peak is 8km. We did try to hike. We were there challenging the 4096m, highest mountain in South East Asia... Geng leh... The view of Mount KK is awesome. We actually woke at 6am to see sun rise BUT it was raining. Disappointed... Huh... It was raining also. The weather was terribly cold that morning. All of us was covering ourselves with blanket while waiting to see the tinge of sunlight BUT... haih...
Kudat... Not that interesting though. The journey was very tiring. The roads are all winded and in quite bad condition. Throughout the 2 days away from KK, the rain pours non stop. The only thing that impressed me was the Tip Of Borneo. The journey to the tip was so challenging. First is the long long hours. Secondly, we had to go through 4 floods to get there. The water level was quite high actually. Scary scary experience...
Labuan is famous for it's choc and alcohol. Duty free... Cheap cheap cheap.. Besides that would be it's historical value. Labuan was the 1st landing area by japanese army. The War Memorial was scenic. You will never see this is Peninsula...
Surrender Point
The Chimney- It is believed that the Japanese planned to do a tunnel from here to KK. However the real purpose of this architecture is yet unknown.
I really love this trip. Hmm... Might be my last trip with this group of buddy. Great thanks to Li Cin and Fang Han who organised this. Great job gals... Muackssss...
Time flies... Still remember me innocently walked into IMU and timidly trying to walk around. And now, I'm no longer an IMU student. I finished my 1st phase. Passing EOS 5 signifies the end in IMU. Sem 1 was like just yesterday. This 2.5 years is really very short and meaningful. Although it doesn't have a big campus that I oweys dreamt for, I do enjoyed a lot in this place.
Hard work throughout the course, good friendship built, hmmm... quite good results achieved. Basically I lived to the fullest in IMU. Wat I will miss in IMU will be the bunch of friends here. Chinese are always labelled as kiasu ppl. So the 1st time I walked in IMU, I'm actually expecting it wont be easy to mingle ard the kiasu-ism. Surprisingly, things weren't that bad. No kiasu, best discussion in PBLs, helpful friends teaching each other... The learning among friends is the best moment of all. My group can quarel over facts, bombard each other with all kind of questions, practice CSU in my living room, these made my study weeks perfect. They helped me to get things into my mind. Really big thank you to Dor, Wc, Cb and ramzi. And some other library furniture too.. Hahah.... like FH, LC, Sandy, SP, YL... quite a lot furniture actually. :P
Now, everyone is back to their hometown, some even fly to their PMS. There wont be any gathering with the whole M206 like the farewell right after OSCE. No more cam whore session, no more signing convo mag, no more teasing each other. Hopefully everyone can still rmb each other, drop a msg once in a while and never forget M206 aaaaaaa...
It's been a long time I din blog. Hmmm... Shall keep this blog alive. Haha... Will blog later bout sabah trip. Woohoo... The funnest and funky-est trip ever.
Here hor.. have to find for the offer ones lo. Overall not that cheap though... read more
